The project aims to focus on promotion of terrace garden and kitchen gardens for urban community is an important component of the programme. SAADHANA implementing this project under RKVY program its covering 2000 beneficiaries in Hassan Urban with sponsoring from Horticulture department, Hassan. The main activities of the project are:
Organizing awareness programme on kitchen garden and terrace gardening.
Providing training and capacity building on terrace gardening and kitchen garden.
Promotion of kitchen gardens and terrace gardens.
Vegetable Seeds distribution.
Providing guidance and technology on terrace gardening and Kitchen Garden
Follow-up activities.
